Adult Groups

 

The following are good starting places to enter into community:

  • Alpha
    Whether you're new to Christianity or not, Alpha is a ten-week group for conversation about the meaning of life and Christianity. Meet some people, explore your faith, and seek a new perspective. Alpha is a safe, comfortable environment. It assumes nothing. RSVP to get started. Typically, Alpha is held twice yearly, starting in the fall and late winter. The Alpha website is alphausa.org.
  • 101 – Discover Your Church 
    “Discover Your Church” provides a thumbnail sketch of our ministry and membership. We cover our mission, vision, values, ministry and approach to membership. It is an afternoon course offered twice yearly. RSVP to get started.
  • Financial Peace University 
    How would your life change if you were debt free? What could you do? Who could you help? Get control of your money by putting together a spending plan that really works. Tell your money what to do - so it can't tell you what to do. This 13-week class helps the average family reduce their debt by $5,300 and save $2,700 in 91 days. Typically starts in the winter in late January.

 

There are also groups meeting for men and women of all ages.

  • Women 
    Women’s groups that serve or meet for fellowship gather weekly.  
  • Men 
    Men’s bible studies meet every Thursday morning at 6 and 8 a.m.  Men’s work groups and servant teams meet regularly. Large men’s fellowship events such throughout the year including attending the Twins game, the Annual Fishing Trip and serving the lutefisk dinner.
