Journey Below the Earth" is the upcoming theme for Splash! grades 1-6 this fall.  Come see Kit Windswept who is at it again! This time, Kit and new sidekick Angus Fetchenpepper are searching for the lost treasure of the pirate Blue Boots. Join their search and discover how to apply the real treasure, the Bible, to your life along the way.

For beginners to kindergarteners (age 3 by Sept. 1 through kindergarten), Splash! kids will learn from the Bible to live the Good News. Each week will be a new Bible story and activities, along with music,  playtime and snacks.

Swedish Choir to perform at Cambridge Lutheran.

Mariakören, an outstanding church choir from Luleå, Sweden, under the direction of Lennart Johansson, will perform in concert, 7:30 pm, Thursday, September 2, at Cambridge Lutheran Church, 621 Old North Main St. in Cambridge. 

Over the past years, the very talented director, Lennart Johansson has brought a variety of choral groups to Cambridge and the East Central MN area.  His groups always have performed at a high musical level with a very enjoyable selection of music.  Johansson and his daughter, Emma, were in Cambridge most recently for the Cambridge Swedish Festival, last June, where he led a wonderful choral festival of his own music. 

The program will include some of Johansson's own compositions, as well as a variety of gospel and praise anthems, and selections from classic choral music literature.

Tickets will be sold at the door at $5.00 each.  A reception will follow.
