Here are some things we’re seeking to “be about.”
We hope that people will come through our doors for a meaningful encounter with God.
We hope that people will come through our doors and find healing and help, community and challenge through the love and truth of Jesus Christ.
We hope that people will find people passionate about loving God, loving neighbor and serving the world.
We believe that Jesus is the foundation for everything in life: marriage, family, friendships, decision-making, finances and career.
We believe Jesus is the foundation for everything in life because everything in life is, ultimately, spiritual.
We believe that Jesus is the hope of the world and the hope of every life.
We believe that you matter to God.
We believe that God has led you here for a reason and for a purpose.
So, what are we “about”?
For 145 years, we’ve been crafting a church to accomplish and communicate those hopes and beliefs.
We’re not there yet. We’re not a perfect church. Everyone one of us has lots of room to grow. But we are on a journey. The journey is to follow the voice of God as heard through Jesus. That is the path we’re going down. Join us for the journey.

It has been a journey of discipleship – growing in the likeness of Christ through word and deed.
It has been a journey of good news – sharing the good news for every life that God invites us to share again and again.
